SUNNI SCENES GIVEAWAY POLICY

1. Giveaway Overview

Sunni Scenes, in collaboration with Queenstown Kombi, is giving one lucky winner the chance
to enjoy 5 nights of accommodation in a VW Kombi hire van in Queenstown, New
Zealand!

● Giveaway Period: The giveaway runs from 3rd February 2025 to 29th February 2025
(AEST).
● Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced on 28th March 2025 via email
and/or Sunni Scenes' social media channels.

How to Enter:

○ Purchase any item from the Sunni Scenes website within the giveaway period
to receive one automatic entry.
○ Bonus Entry: Follow both @queenstownkombi and @sunniscenes on
Instagram for an additional entry.

2. Prize Details

The prize includes 5 nights of VW Kombi van hire in Queenstown, New Zealand, covered by
both Sunni Scenes and Queenstown Kombi.

Who Covers What?

✅ Paid by Sunni Scenes:
● Booking Fee: $194.50 (Price may change based on booking date and insurance policy.)
● Service Fee: $80.00 (Price may change based on booking date and insurance policy.)
● GST: $29.18 (Price may change based on booking date and insurance policy.)
✅ Paid by Queenstown Kombi (Rental Fee):
● Rental Fee: $389.00 × 5 days = $1,945.00 (Price may change based on booking date
and insurance policy.)

❌ Paid by Winner (Compulsory Insurance - Mandatory Cost):
The winner must pay for their own insurance, which is required to confirm the booking.
The available excess reduction options (prices subject to change based on booking date and
policy) are:

● Risk Taker: $80.00
● Happy Camper: $180.00
The insurance fee must be paid directly to Queenstown Kombi before the booking is
confirmed.

3. Eligibility

● Open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or older.
● Employees of Sunni Scenes, Queenstown Kombi, and their immediate families are
not eligible to participate.

4. Winner Selection & Notification

● The winner will be randomly selected after the giveaway period ends.
● The winner will be announced on 28th March 2025 and contacted via email and/or
social media.
● If the winner does not claim their prize within 30 days, a new winner will be drawn.
● If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days, Sunni Scenes reserves
the right to select another winner.

5. Prize Redemption & Booking Terms

● The winner must contact Queenstown Kombi at info@queenstownkombi.co.nz to
arrange their booking.
● The booking dates are subject to availability and must comply with Queenstown Kombi’s rental terms.
● The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the announcement date (by 28th
March 2026).
● Blackout dates may apply.
6. Additional Terms & Conditions
Permit & Legal Requirements
● If required under Australian state or territory laws, Sunni Scenes will obtain
necessary permits for this giveaway.

Privacy Policy

● Personal information collected for this giveaway will only be used for prize fulfillment
and will not be shared with third parties.

● By entering, participants agree to their name being used in promotional materials if
they win.

Liability Disclaimer

● Sunni Scenes and Queenstown Kombi are not responsible for any loss, damage, or
injury arising from participation in the giveaway or the use of the prize, except where required by law.

Prize Restrictions

● The prize does not include flights, fuel, meals, or any other additional expenses
related to the van hire.
● The winner must meet the Queenstown Kombi rental requirements, including:
○ Holding a valid driver’s license
○ Providing a security deposit if required

Refund & Cancellation Policy

● Purchases made for entry into the giveaway are subject to Sunni Scenes' standard
refund policy.
● Entering the giveaway does not guarantee a refund of any purchase.
Fraud & Misconduct
● Sunni Scenes reserves the right to disqualify any participant found engaging in
fraudulent, misleading, or unethical activity.
Force Majeure
● Sunni Scenes and Queenstown Kombi are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or
prize changes due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or
government restrictions).
Governing Law
● This competition is governed by Australian law, and any disputes must be resolved
within Australian courts.
